Mid-June favorite blog posts

As I’ve been camping for nearly a week now, this post is my favorite blog posts since June 8th, I’ll catch up next month!

Activism

I haven’t made my own post on the matter because I know I wouldn’t be able to find the right words and my ranting could go on far too long, so I’m going to share some of my favorite posts from other bloggers. I’ve been mainly using Twitter as a platform to quickly share up-to-date information such as petitions that still need signing and bail funds that need money, so check out some of the resources I’ve shared there. The Internet was an amazing tool for me to learn about (anti-) racism in the wake of Ferguson in 2014 and I hope others, regardless of age, can take this time to educate themselves and be on the right side of history. I’ve read a lot of the suggested reading I’ve seen so here are some of the recommended books I’ve read and reviewed:

Black Lives Matter and if you don’t agree, I don’t want you reading my blog (I have a lot of other choice words for you, but that’s the nicest way to put it).
