Grant and I along with our roommate Hazel played tourist downtown with the Underground Tour, Pike’s Place market and other shops like the art gallery pictured of Michael Birawer. I did a different Underground Tour a few years ago and liked it a lot and think I liked this one even more. Our tour guide Dean was exceptional! Pike’s Place was too crowded and hot (Fourth of July weekend) so we bailed, we live here so we can return any time.
The following week, I took a rescue diver course, which you can read about here!
The week after that, I got a tattoo! I will make a full post about the process (it’s almost done healing) but here is a picture of the final product to tide you through (done by Lee Mullen at Cicada Tattoo).
Grant’s friends Shade and Kaden visited Seattle and stayed with us for a week. They did all the tourist-y stuff during the day while we were at work and chilled with us in the evenings, sometimes going out to eat or drink. They are lovely people and it was nice to get to know them better!
This week was a nice wind-down after a crazy month. I watched a livestream concert of Senses Fail at Joshua Tree. This is my first livestream concert and I’m upset I didn’t watch more in lockdown! But I’m also excited that live events are coming back, this was a great warm-up for the real deal. Grant and I also had a nice night at South Lake Union gaming pub and enjoying the lovely weather.
