2021 in Review

Happy (almost) 2022! I can’t wait to see what next year has in store. All in all, I had a great year living in Seattle with my partner in good health.

High points: Moved to Seattle and exploring the city, making new friends, lots of camping, trip to the UK

Low points: Losing my grandma, my mom’s health problems, being unemployed the last month of the year

Now, for a summary of what I’ve done this year:

January: Settled in Seattle, started my job at a marine hardware store, helped Grant move up

February: Visited Bainbridge Island, got a lot of snow, hiked Twin Falls

March: Visited the Woodland Park Zoo, explored Seattle (markets, Capitol Hill)

April: Enjoyed the nice weather by visiting Saint Edward State Park and Discovery Park, went to Newport, Oregon for Grant’s dad’s memorial, turned 26

May: went to Drive-N-Drag show, camped at Scenic Beach State Park, visited Tucson

June: went camping at Fay Bainbridge and Deception Pass, endured a record-breaking heat wave

July: played tourist downtown taking the underground tour and visiting Pike’s Place, got rescue diver certified, got a tattoo, had friends visit

August: went camping in Barview, Oregon

September: took a daytrip to Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee, saw Tame Impala live at The Gorge, visited Grant’s family in Newport

October: saw Senses Fail live, went to the art museum and explored downtown, visited the Japanese Gardens, quit my job
